The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for frost.
The forecast:
A rather cloudy and cold start, with temperatures near to freezing point on the upland roads, but a dry day with spells of sunshine developing. The light or moderate east winds slowly swinging southeast and temperatures rising to 8 Celsius.
A touch of frost in places tonight. Dry although often cloudy over the weekend, with light or moderate winds.
