The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for frost.

The forecast:

A cold start with a frost in places but dry, turning cloudy during the morning then outbreaks of rain and drizzle developing by mid-afternoon, clearing this evening. Temperatures rising to around 8 Celsius, with freshening west to southwest winds.

Thursday morning will be dry with bright intervals but then turning wet mid to late afternoon with hill fog and strengthening south-southwest winds, the rain becoming heavy at times. Top temperature 9°C.

Scattered showers at first on Friday, becoming mostly dry with bright intervals and stiff southwest winds slowly moderating.
