Storm Bram brought one of the island’s strongest gusts in a decade, forecasters sayStarting cloudy, misty and murky today with a few drizzly outbreaks of rain, but it will soon become dry and brighten up with sunny spells developing from about 8 or 9 am onwards. However, the northwest winds will to increase to become strong and gusty, perhaps even touching gale force in the south and east of the island at times. Maximum temperature 11 Celsius.
Tonight will be dry and clear as the winds ease, with tomorrow then dry with sunny intervals and moderate or fresh northwest winds.
Settled and dry through the rest of the week and the weekend, although cloudier at times.
