The weather forecast from the Met Office:
A wet day today, with persistent rain and sometimes drizzle, turning heavy at times. The rain may ease and become patchy for a time this afternoon before becoming heavy again in the evening. Light to moderate southeast winds veering southwest later in the day, top temperature 10°C.
Rain with the risk of extensive hill fog at first on Thursday, gradually clearing during the morning allowing sunny intervals to develop into the afternoon. Moderate to fresh north to northwest winds and a highest temperature of 9°C.
Friday will start off dry and turn increasingly cloudy ahead of rain developing later in the day which will turn persistent overnight. Southerly winds increasing and temperatures around 8°C.
