The weather forecast from the Met Office:
Outbreaks of rain will continue to affect the island at times this morning, but will largely die away into the afternoon giving some drier and brighter conditions for a time. Highest temperature around 7 or 8°C with mainly moderate winds.
Rain will redevelop this evening, becoming persistent with some heavy downpours likely overnight, bringing a risk of some localised flooding. Quite windy with the easterly wind becoming strong to near gale force, with minimum temperature near to 3°C.
Tomorrow will be cloudy with spells of rain, and some heavier bursts possible at times. Breezy with a moderate to fresh wind, and top temperature of 7°C.
Remaining unsettled and cloudy on Friday with further outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Temperatures rising up to 5°C at best.
