Outbreaks of rain at first today will soon be replaced by occasional showers and bright or sunny intervals, the best of the brightness later in the day.

Feeling cold, with the strong northwest winds easing a little as the day goes on. Maximum temperature only 8 or 9 Celsius, below average.

Tonight the showers will become isolated as the winds ease further, with tomorrow seeing plenty of sunshine and only isolated showers.

Little change on Thursday and Friday, sunny spells and isolated showers.
