The Met Office’s yellow warning for ice and wintry showers continues.

Today the Mountain Road and some other routes were shut because of snowfall.

The forecast:

Tonight there will continue to be a risk of wintry showers and, as temperatures fall close to freezing, icy patches are possible as well. Then tomorrow the showers will soon become isolated, allowing good bright or sunny spells.

Dry and sunny on Friday, but cold in the brisk northerly winds.
