The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for ice and says there is a small risk of snow.
The forecast:
Rain, sleet and snow clearing with any snow confined to high ground. Icy stretches possibly developing in any cloud breaks.
Bright or sunny intervals then developing during this morning, but with a small risk of isolated wintry showers. Moderate to fresh northerly wind and a top temperature of 6°C.
Tomorrow, bright or sunny spells and the risk of further wintry showers. Moderate to fresh north or northwest wind and a highest temperature of 7°C.
Remaining cold for the rest of the week with the risk of icy patches at night as well as the ongoing risk of wintry showers.
