The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for frost, icy patched and potential snow.
The forecast:
Cold start to the day with patchy ice on untreated surfaces. A few showers around, these of snow over higher ground and a mixture of rain or sleet to low levels. These showers moving away later in the morning as it becomes dry with sunny spells. Moderate mainly northerly wind and a top temperature of 5°C.
Into tomorrow, cold and frosty start and then sunny spells developing. Tending to become more cloudy later in the day with a moderate northeast wind. Temperatures again around 5°C.
On Monday largely cloudy to start the day with a few frost and ice patches around as well as maybe some wintry showers. Sunny intervals later with a mainly fresh northeast wind. Remaining cold.
