Today will be cloudy and windy with fairly persistent outbreaks of rain, which may turn heavy at times, making driving conditions quite difficult with standing water developing on the island's roads.Very windy with a strong to gale force southwest wind, giving gusts quite widely of 40-45 mph, but perhaps up to 50 mph in more exposed spots.Highest temperature only around 14°C, and feeling cooler in the wind.

Staying wet and windy tonight with outbreaks of rain continuing to affect the island. Minimum temperature near to 10°C.

Tomorrow will be largely cloudy with occasional rain and drizzle, and the possibility of some drier interludes at times. The strong to gale force southwest wind will turn to the west and ease slightly later in the day, with highs of 15°C.

Tuesday will start rather cloudy with the threat of a little light rain or drizzle, but becoming drier into the afternoon as the westerly wind falls light, with the chance of some brightness to end the day. Top temperature around 16°C.
