Rain will start to clear from midday.
The Met Office forecast for Wednesday: ‘Outbreaks of rain will continue to affect the island this morning, but will start to clear away around midday leaving the afternoon mostly dry with the chance of some bright or sunny spells to end the day.
‘Windy with a strong south-easterly wind and highs of 9°C.
‘Dry this evening and tonight with some clear spells as temperatures fall near to 5°C for most places, but a couple of degrees colder over the hills.’
