Four Steam Packet sailings cancelled as Storm Bram brings gale force windsThe forecast:
Possibly a few icy patches at first today, but otherwise it will be a bright day with plenty of sunny spells and just a small risk of a wintry shower. Maximum temperature 7 Celsius, and fairly breezy with the northwest winds becoming fresh to strong.
Tonight a ground frost is likely at first, before cloud increases later. Then tomorrow rain will soon arrive as the southeast winds become strong, the rain turning persistent and quite heavy. Later in the day the winds will swing southwesterly and ease for a time, and the rain should become lighter towards the evening.
Heavy rain tomorrow night, then quite windy over the weekend with sunny intervals and a few wintry showers.
