An exhibition of woodcarvings and other sculptures will take place in Ramsey over TT fortnight.
Artist David Renshaw will be holding the exhibition in Bourne Place, Parliament Street, in his home town of Ramsey.
It will showcase works created over four decades, ranging from animals, birds, sea animals, Manx-inspired items and political pieces.
Included in the collection are some new pieces, created for the Ramsey Queen’s Pier Restoration Trust, made from wood recovered from the pier many years before it closed.
David wanted to do something special with the wood.
David said: ’It felt very special to create something from these salvaged pieces of wood, as I was carving them,
’I found myself wondering how many pairs of feet had walked over the boardwalk in the years the pier was open - I wonder if they could talk, what stories they’d have to tell about the visitors it saw.’
The exhibition will take place over TT fortnight, starting on Saturday, May 26, and running through until Saturday, June 9, from 10am until 5pm daily.
Entry is free.
Visitors will be encouraged to make donations to the Queen’s Pier Restoration Trust.
