The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain.
Rain is expected to continue to be mostly persistent through the rest of today and at first tonight, although a drier slot is possible late afternoon/early evening.
There will be further 10 to 30mm is likely (small chance of 40mm), giving a slight risk of localised flooding. Later in the night or at first tomorrow the rain will clear.
The forecast from the Met Office:
Further periods of rain this evening and for much of tonight, lighter for a time at first this evening before then turning heavier again. However, later in the night or shortly after dawn the rain will clear away. Minimum temperature tonight 12 Celsius, with moderate or fresh west or northwest winds.
Tomorrow will then be a dry day, and after a cloudy start good sunny spells will soon develop. Light or moderate southwest winds, with temperature reaching 20 Celsius.
