The Met Office has issued a yellow weather forecast for ice.

The forecast:

Cold start with ice on untreated surfaces. Otherwise, fine, dry and becoming sunny in a light northeasterly wind. Top temperature 6°C in the afternoon.

Temperatures falling quickly through this evening with further frost and ice developing.

Into tomorrow, another cold and frosty start to the day that will become mostly sunny. Feeling cold with significant wind chill in the fairly strong east or southeast wind.

Another fine and dry day on Sunday after a cold and frosty start.
