The Met Office has issued another yellow weather warning.
There will be icy patches and frost.
The forecast:
Today will be fine and dry with lengthy sunny spells. Highest temperature around 6°C, but feeling colder in the fresh to strong south-easterly wind.
Staying dry this evening and tonight with variable amounts of cloud, and a fresh to strong southeast wind. Lowest temperature near to 1°C for much of the island but as low as -2°C over higher ground.
The weekend will remain dry with some sunny intervals, but turning increasingly cold with maximum temperatures suppressed to around 5 or possibly 6°C, and feeling much colder in the strong east to southeast wind. Very cold overnight with minimum temperatures widely below freezing.
