The Isle of Man’s Yorkshire Society celebrated its 50th anniversary on Yorkshire Day last week.

Members enjoyed a meal at Peel Golf Club.

The current president, John Briggs, made a presentation to David and Pauline Hobson for their commitment and service to the society over 40 years.

The society donates money to two charities every year. This year they were the Parkinson’s Society and the Hospice.
