The Manx Youth Games takes place on Saturday at various venues across the island.

The Isle of Man’s largest multi-sport event is now in its 20th year and returns after it was postponed last year because of coronavirus restrictions.

Again this year’s sessions have been disrupted by the island’s second and third lockdowns.

Children between the ages of six and 16 would normally have attended weekly training sessions in preparation for the Games this weekend but this has not been possible until the last few weeks.

The Games’ traditional opening ceremony takes place at the NSC track from 10am, before the children head off to various venues to take part in the 15 sports on offer.
