A zumba event has raised £1,130 for Manx Breast Cancer Support Group.

The ’zumbathon’ was held recently by Sara Kilduff of Saraszestforlife, which hosts fitness classes at Colby Football Club for all ages.

Ms Kilduff, of Colby, was pleased with the turnout of 30 women to participate.

She said: ’The ladies worked so hard to make it a success and were extremely enthusiastic. An hour of amazing fun where we danced our socks off!’

’I only trained to be a Zumba teacher in the third lockdown but its proven popular. It was lovely to see so many happy faces enjoying life in these challenging times.

Ms Kilduff is now hoping to raise funds for Mannin Cancer Support Group by holding another zumbathon with the Colby football team and is inviting anyone else who would like to participate on December 3 at 6.30pm.
