The Children’s Centre’s 10th annual Race the Sun challenge around the Raad ny Foillan coastal path takes place on Saturday.

The Knox House Trust-supported relay event sees teams of 10 tackle the 100-mile course.

Starting at sunrise in Peel at 5.08am, the team must complete a clockwise lap of the island before the sun sets at 9.21pm to finish the gruelling event.

Race the Sun is now in its 10th year and has raised more than £100,000 for the Children’s Centre in that time.

This money will go directly to supporting vulnerable children and young people in the Isle of Man through the charity’s many projects.
