The Bikestyle Handicap road race series restarts this Thursday evening at Jurby.

Six races remain in the series. It will be five laps for the scratch group and four for the rest, with handicaps ’further massaged’ and more primes and spot prizes up for grabs.

Sign on from 6.15 for a 7pm start.

l The PokerStars two-day mountain bike enduro takes place this weekend.

Both days are based at St John’s Football Club, Mullen-e-Cloie, with the Saturday start at 1pm with stages in Slieau Whallian, Arrasey, Kerrowdhoo, Cringle and a second run through Slieau Whallian.

Sunday starts at 10am with stages in Arrasey (two laps), Kerrowdhoo, Cringle and again finishing at the bottom of Slieau Whallian on the Patrick Road.

To give spectators an idea of times, the estimate is between 45 and 50 minutes per stage, including transitions between.

l Ellan Vannin/Appleby host the Isle of Man 25-mile time trial championships this Sunday on the Rhencullen course.

The Rob Rohrer Memorial 25 will be based at Ballaugh Parish Hall, with signing on between 8 and 8.30 for a 9am start.
