Manx sidecar ace Dan Sayle has been moved out of critical care as he continues his recovery from the injuries sustained in the Lightweight Classic TT.

Dan (pictured left in hospital with his partner Kirree Kermode) suffered multiple injuries after crashing at Ballaspur, including a fracture to the base of his skull, a broken cheek, collarbone, shoulder, arm, ribs, breast bone and vertebrae.

Posting an update on Facebook on Wednesday, Kirree said: ’Dan is now out of critical care and on to the Sherrington ward at the Walton Centre.

’This boy is not hanging about, the sheer grit and determination shown as he lays down small steps each day has been unbelievable.

’I cannot thank you all enough for all the love, support and the thousands of messages, calls and well wishes.’ï¸
