Isle of Man Dressage Group recently held its 30th anniversary championship at Conrhenny Equestrian Centre.
Despite a number of withdrawals, there were still plenty of dressage riders on show and Alisha Blower (Brynseion Red Rose) secured the intro junior class.
This was followed by the novice classes which were won by the Corlett sisters, with Abby (The Real McCoy) winning the senior with a score of 70.21 percent while her younger sibling Lucy (Escaday) topped the junior on 68.04.
The elementary class went to Georgia Stokes (Captain Bountiful) with 67.81, having recently moved to this level.
The last two classes (advanced and advanced medium) were battled out between James Mister (Forrester) and Helen Squires (The Prophet), with Mister winning the former and Squires the latter.
Afterwards, the winners were presented with a sash and a discount voucher on Epico Equestrian breeches.
Squires also went on to secure the highest score of the competition (73+%) winning a lovely numnah sponsored by JM Dressage. It was a personal best for the combination in affiliated advanced medium.
There was an additional prize for the best turnout which was presented to Jayne McGee who received a lesson voucher donated by Matthew Burnett.
The judges were Jane Attree (intro novice) and Jennifer Gilbey (elementary).
