The third edition of Isle of Man Cyclefest, presented by Isle of Man Bank, will take place three weeks earlier than previously in the glorious grounds of Milntown Estate, Ramsey.
The festival will once again be a celebration of cycle sport, together with award-winning music, scrummy produce, awesome stunts and a raft of family fun.
Earlybird tickets for the April 21-22 event go on general sale from October 25. Festival goers can enjoy a massive 50 per cent discount on all wristband tickets up until December 1, along with further discounts on weekend tickets.
Competitors will receive a 25 per cent discount on all events up until December 1, along with further discounts on the championship bundle (all three main events), while entry to any cycle event includes a free festival pass for that day’s festival at Milntown.
A number of new festival features are being introduced for the entire weekend’s entertainment, catering for families and little ones, all free on admission to Milntown.
Highlight of the weekend, the Gran Fondo cycle, received high praise from Cycling Weekly’s Chris Marshall-Bell when he visited the island for an escorted ride with event ambassador Rob Holden.
His verdict was that it was one of the best Gran Fondos around.
A raft of music acts, festival activities and special guests will be announced at a launch evening in Noa’s Bakehouse on October 25 when details of a new website will be announced and a festival film will be unveiled.
