The Saints face another tough test this weekend when they travel to Glencrutchery Road and an in-form St George’s.
Geordies’ second string have been in fine fettle toward the end of the campaign and are unbeaten in nine of their last 10.
St Mary’s convincingly won the pair’s sole league meeting 7-0, but expect this one to be a lot closer with the Glencrutchery Road outfit’s youngsters improving every week.
Union Mills will fly the flag for Combination Two when they take on 2013 cup winners and near neighbours Corinthians.
Mills saw off Combination One Laxey 5-4 at Glen Road in the quarter-finals and will go into the tie at Gary Mooar in confident mood.
The Millers have finished the season strongly, missing out on the division’s runners-up spot on goal difference to Ramsey.
The Whites, however, should start as favourites having also put together a strong finish to the campaign that has seen them unbeaten in their last eight in all competitions.
Adam McCullough, Ian Drake and Jordan Cowin have been among the goalscorers for the Whites all season and they may just give them the edge in this one.
