JCK Division Two champions Braddan finished their league campaign on a winning note, coming from behind to defeat Foxdale 2-3 at Billy Goat Park on Wednesday evening.

The Laundrymen had to thank their assistant manager Michael Hegarty, who came off the bench to score an 88th-minute winner.

Antony Corkill gave the hosts the lead heading in a cross from the right on 17 minutes.

Foxdale doubled their lead just before half-time, Callan Wade guiding his effort past goalkeeper Craig Hardie and into the net.

However, with only two minutes played in the second half Stuart Pacey drilled home to half the deficit.

Captain Joe Andrews levelled matters on the hour-mark when he bundled home at a corner.

As the match drew to a close, Jamie Delaney’s corner found Hegarty who directed his header home to ensure the Swans leave Division Two with another three points.

The match brought to close one of Braddan’s most successful campaigns to record, which saw them secure promotion and the Division Two, Woods Cup, Gold Cup and Combination Two titles.
