St George’s striker Ciaran McNulty is the Canada Life Premier League’s Player of the Month for September.
The former Gymns man earned 13 player rating points over the period to finish top of the monthly pile and land the first award of the 2017-18 season.
The Isle of Man FA and Ellan Vannin attacker was in deadly form in front of goal netting 12 in five games to shoot to the top of the goalscoring charts. McNulty’s September goal glut included six in the league leaders’ 7-2 win over Laxey. He also hit four as Douglas Athletic were hammered 14-0 at Springfield Road.
Jack McVey and Furo Davies complete September’s top three, trailing their St George’s team-mate by only a couple of points.
Peel’s Shaun Kelly has made a promising start to his time with the Sunset City side and he was fourth in the standings a further half a point back on Davies.
Corinthians pair Connor Gorman and Cameron Lee complete the top six after helping the Whites to win all of their games in the first four weeks of the season.
St George’s skipper Frank Jones is among a quartet of players on eight points.
Also included in that bracket are Young Player of the Month Tom Smith, Corinthians goalkeeper Adam Killey and Laxey’s Joe Walters.
Smith has impressed at Corinthians since a summer switch from Laxey, the centre-back helping his side to three clean sheets during the period.
