Pulrose United came from a goal behind to beat Ramsey 2-1 in Good Friday’s GH Corlett Woods Cup final.

After a frenetic start, Ramsey went ahead when centre-back Michael Valerga headed in at a corner.

Pulrose were level within three minutes though when Owen Canipa’s back-heel was adjudged to have crossed the line by assistant referee Steve Dowdall despite Andy Perry’s efforts.

Pully scored the game’s decisive goal eight minutes into the second half when Marc Priestnal struck from the spot.

Ramsey tried to muster a response, but Pully saw out the remainder of the half to retain the trophy they won last season.
