Corinthians and Douglas High School Old Boys battled to a 2-2 draw at Ballafletcher on Saturday afternoon.

The visitors took a well-deserved point from the Canada Life Premier League match despite playing the majority of the encounter with only 10 men after James McStay was sent off for an off-the-ball incident after 35 minutes.

Prior to that Sean Doyle had headed the Whites ahead only for Robbie Ward to level things up from the penalty spot.

Gary Quirk actually put the visitors ahead midway through the second half with a pearler from 25 yards only for Doyle to restore parity once more when he scored his second header of the match.St George's and St Mary's remain the top flight's only undefeated sides after they both claimed comfortable victories.Geordies beat Laxey 9-1 with Furo Davies netting five goals for the reigning champions. St Mary's stay top after a 5-1 victory at promoted Marown.Elsewhere in the top flight, Rushen United beat Douglas Athletic 5-1 while Old Firm rivals Peel triumphed 0-6 at Castletown.In JCK Division Two, Pulrose United suffered their first match of the campaign. Youthie triumphed 3-2 thanks to goals from Lewis Moran, Stevie Grose and Daniel Sherry.Pully's fellow promotion contenders Foxdale and Ramsey both scored good wins.Dale edged past Onchan 2-1 with Liam Parker and Andrew Berry on the scoresheet.Ramsey's victory was a little more comfortable as they overcame Union Mills 1-6 at Garey Mooar.6-1 was the second-tier's scoreline of the day as Ayre United triumphed at Governor's Athletic and Malew were victorious at Douglas and District.Gymns picked up their maiden win of the campaign as they beat Michael United by the odd goal in seven at Tromode.Full round up in next week's Isle of Man Examiner.
