Douglas Royal have been relegated from the Canada Life Premier League on goal difference.
The Ballafletcher outfit drew their final game of the season with relegation rivals St John’s United 2-2 on Tuesday evening meaning both finish the campaign locked on 14 points.
The Johnners’ better goal difference, however, means they retain their place in the top-flight next season.
Jamie Crook put the Johnners ahead only for Taylor Andrews to level the scores in the lead up to the half-time break.
Louis Morris’s second-half strike put United back in front, Adam Cooil levelling the scores with six minutes left. Despite a frantic finish, neither side could add a third goal as Royal slipped into JCK Division Two.
At the other end of the standings, St Mary’s are a whisker away from landing a maiden Canada Life Premier League title.
The Saints triumphed 6-0 at Laxey and now only require a point from their final two league games of the season against DHSOB and Douglas Athletic to wrap up the silverware.
There was a rare 0-0 in the CLPL’s other game as St George’s and DHSOB shared the spoils at Glencrutchery Road.
In the two games in JCK Division Two, a hat-trick from Carl Hickey gave Colby a 3-2 victory over Ayre United, while Onchan triumphed at Gymns 4-2 in the latter’s final game of the campaign.
