With leaders RYCOB enjoying a weekend off this Saturday, it gives the chasing pack a chance to close the gap in JCK Division Two.

Youthie currently have a five-point cushion at the head of the standings and will therefore end the weekend top regardless of what unfolds on Saturday afternoon. However, the northerners will be keeping a watchful eye on the games as four sides in the top six all go head-go-head.

The games in question see Onchan head north to take on Ramsey at Ballacloan Stadium while Pulrose United head south to face Malew at Clagh Vane. Malew and Pully are currently locked on 19 points, with Onchan one adrift in fifth and in turn two points ahead of sixth-placed Ramsey.

Malew go into the game in better form and, with home advantage, will possibly start as slight favourites.

Ramsey and Onchan also looks set to be a close affair, the home side buoyed by coming from three goals down to snatch a point at Pully, while Onchan have won their last three.

These fixtures could play into the hands of fourth-placed Foxdale who should capitalise if they claim victory at Douglas and District, but D&D will be desperate to bounce back from their defeat to Gymns.

The latter side are steadily moving up the table at the moment and will want to cause Union Mills problems at Garey Mooar, while Governor’s Athletic - fresh from their first win of the season - host Colby, and Ayre United welcome Michael United to Andreas.
