Union Mills continued their perfect start to the 2020-21 JCK Division Two season with victory over Castletown on Wednesday evening.

The Millers were ruthless against the Mets at Garey Mooar, with hat-tricks from Ryan Kelly and Jordan Crawley plus a Luke Booth brace sealing an 8-0 win.

RYCOB were in similar form as they defeated Onchan 7-1 at Scoill Ree Gorree. Lewis Moran led the way with a hat-trick and was joined on the scoresheet by Darren Hudgeon, John Lund, Stevie Grose and Nick Hurt.

The high-scoring theme continued across the division with at least four goals in every game. Douglas and District maintained their fine start to life under new manager Andrew Dossor with a 3-1 victory over Gymns. A Mark Quirk brace - one a penalty - plus a Daniel Stewart-Clague strike helped the Noble’s Park side record their third win in a row and leaves them lying in a lofty third place in the table.

The Station Fields derby saw Colby get the better of Governor’s Athletic 6-3, with Luke Roberts doing most of the damage with a hat-trick plus a brace from Ste Collister and a Sam Woolland goal. Nathakan Phumsai, Brett Kitching and Ciaran Smith netted for Athletic.

Elsewhere, Michael United recorded their first win of the new season thanks to a 4-2 success at home to Pulrose United. Stephen Quayle starred with a brace and further goals came from Michael Hammond and Nuno Marques.
