There’s a mixed bag of fixtures on the cards in JCK Division Two this weekend, with Pulrose United enjoying a week off.

The game of the day arguably takes place at the Nivison Stadium where Onchan host Malew in a key battle for the top four. Until last weekend, Malew were one of only two sides unbeaten in the second division, but their 1-0 reverse at the hands of Pully ended that impressive run.

This weekend’s clash promises to be an intriguing affair, with both sides aiming to bounce back from defeats, Onchan having lost heavily at Ramsey last time out. The southerners are currently one place and one place higher than the Os but with three games in hand, therefore there’s plenty at stake in this clash.

Another interesting battle could unfold at Billy Goat Park where in-form Foxdale host Union Mills. The hosts will start as favourites but, as the Millers’ win over Pully earlier this season suggests, the visitors cannot be taken lightly.

League leaders RYCOB will be odds on to continue their unbeaten run when they welcome Douglas and District to Scoill ree Gorree, but the latter will want to make life hard for them.

There’s a northern derby of sorts on the cards at Balleira Road when in-form Ramsey should get the better of hosts Michael United, while Tony Sewell’s form side Gymns could move into the top half of the table should they get the better of Governor’s Athletic.

The final game sees Ayre United travel to Colby, with the Tangerines favourites.
