Onchan will face a stern test of their JCK Division Two title and promotion aspirations when they host fellow challengers St John’s this weekend.

The Os have somewhat flown under the radar in the second tier so far this season, notching up seven wins from their opening nine games to lead the way at the top of the table.

The Saints currently lie fifth but are only three points behind with a game in hand and also a superior goal difference, therefore a win for the visitors on Saturday could well propel them up to the summit should other results go their way.

The home side though, will be fired up for this clash so expect a tight clash to unfold at the Nivison Stadium.

Another good game could be on the cards at Garey Mooar where previous leaders Union Mills will be hoping to bounce back from defeat to Ayre when they host second-placed Braddan in a match which could easily go either way.

Having stunned the Millers with a late flurry of goals, Ayre travel to the capital and will be favourites to get the better of Gymns in Tromode, although the latter will be buoyed by picking up their first points last time out.

There’s a southern derby on the cards at the Station Fields where Colby will be expected to get the better of Malew - although the latter were resilient against Onchan last weekend - while at the opposite end of the island, Douglas and District are the visitors to RYCOB.

The final game sees Michael United head down the A3 to take on Foxdale.
