The holders dispatched of western neighbours St John’s United in the preliminary stage and take on Division Two opposition again this weekend.
The Os have been consistently inconsistent this season, pairing impressive wins over Union Mills, Colby and Ayre United, with defeats against RYCOB, St John’s and a 7-1 reverse at the hands of Foxdale just last week.
David Rees’s side should raise their game, but expect a Peel side buoyed by Old Firm success last time out to advance into the last eight.
St George’s will also be favourites to book their place in the quarter-final draw when they face the top-flight’s bottom side, Pulrose, at Glencrutchery Road.
Second-tier Malew will be eyeing a cup shock when they travel to Douglas Royal.
However, the Premier League side’s talented youngsters will be keen on a cup run and should take the honours in this one.
