FC Isle of Man continued their rich vein of form in the North West Counties Football League with a comprehensive 4-0 win at Eccleshall on Saturday afternoon.
The Ravens were simply too strong for their hosts at Pershall Park in the West Midlands, leading 1-0 at half-time before taking control in the second half with three further goals.
The undoubted star of the show was Sean Doyle who helped himself to all four goals, the first of which arrived in the 25th minute when Furo Davies won possession and squared the ball to Doyle for a tap-in.
The second arrived in the 52nd minute when Dan Simpson delivered a cross from the left which was headed home before Doyle completed his hat-trick 15 minutes later with a mazy run and finish.
The same player rounded off the scoring three minutes from time when the home side failed to clear their lines and the Ravens striker pounced to slot home his fourth of the afternoon.
The result moves FC Isle of Man up to ninth in the table only four points off the promotion places with games in hand over all other teams in the league.
The Ravens face Barnton tomorrow (Wednesday) before travelling to Abbey Hulton United this Saturday ahead of their FA Vase clash with Billingham Synthonia.
