The Isle of Man FA has confirmed that ’football at a distance’ will be permitted outdoors from Saturday.

Groups of 10 or less will be allowed to play football as long as there is strictly no contact and those involved stay two metres apart.

The move was confirmed in a tweet by the FA on Thursday afternoon, which also stated that equipment, such as bibs and cones, and drinks bottles etc should not be shared.

Clubhouses should only be opened to provide toilet facilities and refreshments.

Players are also reminded to regularly wash their hands.
