Douglas Royal and Colby have qualified for the semi-finals of the Nedbank-sponsored Foodlit Cup, after securing 11-0 and 5-0 victories over Douglas Athletic and DHSOB respectively in Sunday’s remaining Group A matches.

Holders Douglas Royal finished as group winners with a 100 per cent record. Leading 4-0 at the break, Rebecca Cole (2), Claire Hawley-Scott (2), Donna Shimmin (2), Holly Stephen (2), Sophie Chinn, Bekkie Webster and Sarah Breen were on target against the Pinks.

DHSOB only needed a draw to progress to the next round, however, it was Colby who secured their place in the final four for the first time since their formation in 2006.

Leading 2-0 at the break, Caitlin Smith (2), Kayleigh Callow, Leanne Prescott and Amy Speed scored against the Blackberry Lane side.
