The Nedbank-sponsored Women’s League season kicks off in earnest with three games this Sunday.

There are seven teams in the division for the 2017-18 season after Gymnasium dropped out over the summer.

Last year’s league champions Corinthians begin their campaign with a potentially tricky trip to the Station Fields where they take on Colby.

In a repeat of last season’s Regency Travel Women’s FA Cup final, Peel host Douglas Royal also at the Station Fields with the westerners hoping to gain revenge for their 5-3 defeat in May.

The final game in the opening round of the Women’s League sees DHSOB journey up the east coast to take on Laxey at Glen Road.

The following week’s fixtures are as follows:

Sunday, September 17:

Corinthians v Peel

DHSOB v Colby

Douglas Athletic v Laxey
