The Winter League resumes this coming Saturday when, hopefully, the third round is scheduled to take place.

Earlier in the week, the immediate past captains Linda Fisk and Andrew Gerrard donned their green jackets to present a big cheque to club member Steve Zybert, a director of their chosen charity Friends of Noble’s Hospital.

Throughout the year various golf themed fund-raising events had taken place at the links and, thanks to the generosity of members and supporters, a total of £6,818.81 had been donated.

No doubt the incoming captains Michelle Hooker and Roger Raatgever will be hoping for similar success in their efforts financially to assist Forget Me Not which funds dementia support in the Isle of Man.
