Isle of Man snooker star Darryl Hill equalled his best result in a ranking event in the Coral Shootout in Watford last weekend.
The one-frame knockout event sees each match last a maximum of 10 minutes with a shot clock of 15 seconds for the first five minutes and 10 seconds for the last five.
The event was televised live on ITV and, having become a ranking event for the first time, the entry was extended from 64 to 128 players.
Hill went up against English-Norwegian pro Kurt Maflin in the opening round and emerged triumphant 47-26 to progress.
In the second round the 20-year-old faced former world number 33 Bradley Jones and, although it was a closer affair, Hill did enough to edge the frame 34-27.
The third round saw Hill take on China’s Li Hang, ranked 59th in the world. Lang quickly made a 50 break and, although Hill managed to mount a small comeback, he ran out of time and the Chinese player eventually triumphed 60-13.
Hill now heads to the Gilbraltar Open which starts on Friday
