With only three games remaining in the PwC Men’s and Women’s Premier Leagues, the leaders of both have the opportunity to clinch the titles this weekend.

Standing in the way of Jamie Brown’s Ramsey Crookall Bacchas A side are bottom side LJ Ramsey A.

The northerners have found the net in every game this season, bar ominously the first time they met Bacchas A. The Tromode side struck 10 in that game and should clinch the title convincingly on Saturday despite Ramsey’s best efforts.

Second-placed Canaccord Genuity Vikings A can consolidate their runners-up spot with victory over Partitionware Castletown A.

Vikings have a good recent record against the southern side, having won the past six league meetings. Despite Mark Bratt and the talismanic James Ormond being on fine form in defence for the Reds, the All Blacks should have enough to find a way through.

Luis Novo Smith’s Crowe Morgan Valkyrs A complete the Premier League line-up and will be seeking revenge against Bacchas B after the Whites defeated them earlier in the season.

Both sides are tied on points and, should Bacchas upset the Peel outfit again, they will harbour serious ambitions of third place.

It’s the same story in the PwC Women’s Premier League where Kim Carney’s Vikings A have been magnificent this season.

Four points clear of the chasing pack, a draw or victory would be enough to add yet another Premier League crown into their bulging trophy cabinet. They are, however, meeting a team on the up in Emma Leeming’s Bacchas A.

By their own high standards Bacchas didn’t have the best start to the season, but have really picked up the pace with five straight wins, including two against rivals Valkyrs. Could the Whites be the team to finally end Vikings’ streak?

Elsewhere in the division, there’s a real four-pointer between Dani Kelly’s Castletown and Caitlin Dodd’s Harlequins.

With nothing splitting the sides the first time they met, Harlequins sit ahead of the Reds in the league by virtue of goal difference.

Should there be a winner on Saturday they will almost certainly stay at the top table.

With so many leagues where the division is all but decided, there’s a refreshing look to PwC Men’s Division One where only three points separate four clubs.

Vikings B lead the way but have a tough proposition against a Bacchas Colts side who could leapfrog them with victory and have a game in hand.

Harlequins and Saracens face off in the other game, both still with one eye on the title.

At the other end of the table Ramsey B and Valkyrs B play, with the victors striking a huge blow to the other’s survival hopes.

In PwC Women’s Division One, Bacchas B can take the title with victory over a strong Ramsey B side.

Should they lose or draw, it could give impetus to Beckie O’Brien’s Vikings B who can move to within three points of the top should they gain the upper hand over Valkyrs C as expected.

Newly-crowned champions Vikings Colts take on Bacchas C in PwC Men’s Division Two, while Castletown B can guarantee second with victory over Harlequins B.

On the women’s side, Gail Joughin’s Saracens’ reward for sealing the crown last week is to attempt to defeat the only side who has got the better of them this season, in Harlequins B.
