The 2019 Isle of Man Track and Field Championships take place at the National Sports Centre this weekend.
It is sponsored by Mannin Retail (SPAR) which operates 17 stores across the island.
Saturday’s programme begins with discus, long jump and hammer field events for all ages from under-13s upwards between 10.15am and 12.15pm.
The first track finals start at 11am and include hurdles (from 70 metres to 100 metres), plus 100m flat events.
Track events continue with 1500m, 300m, 400m, 1200m and 600m from 1.45pm through to 4.30. Field events continue during the same period with triple jump, shot putt, high jump, cricket ball throw, long jump, javelin and discus.
On Sunday, the action again starts at 10.15am with field events, and track heats/finals from 11am through to the 800m finals from 4pm.The three-legged race will bring the meeting to a fun finale at 4.45, followed by the prize presentations at 5pm.
