Onchan’s Nathan Harrison completed a Manx Grand Prix double on Thursday afternoon when he won the four-lap Senior race.
The 21-year-old, who was victorious in Wednesday’s Junior race, was initially second behind James Hind and then Stephen Parsons before producing two flying laps after the mid-race pit stops to take the win by 17.836 seconds on the Honda.
Kawasaki-mounted Parsons finished runner-up in the Senior race for the second successive year, 19.981s ahead of Tadcaster’s Brad Vicars.
Darryl Tweed was fourth only a couple of seconds ahead of Daniel Ingham as first-on-the-road, Steve Proctor, rounded out the top six.
Peel’s Marc Colvin finished ninth, while Samuel Mousley was top newcomer in 19th.
Double Lightweight winner, Hind, made another fast start before he was forced to retire his Yamaha R6 at Ballaugh Bridge on the opening lap.
Parsons took to the head of the timing charts, until Harrison put the hammer down after the fuel stops at the end of lap two.
