Cal Crutchlow finished fifth in the Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island on Sunday.

The Ramsey-based LCR Honda MotoGP rider is currently ninth in the overall standings with two rounds remaining at Malaysia this weekend and Valencia on November 12.

Onchan-based Sam Lowes was 19th in Australia on the factory Aprilia, having finished 10th in Japan a week earlier, and is now 25th in the championship standings with five points.

Spain’s Marc Marquez rode his way to the chequered flag, while the recently-returned-from-injury Valentino Rossi won an exciting battle for the number two spot.
