Team Isle of Man remain locked in a battle for supremacy at the top of the NatWest Island Games medal table in Gotland.
Manx athletes are continuing to impress right across the board in the 17th biennial Games which are being held on the picturesque Swedish island.
Yet more gold medals were clinched by the team as the cyclists, swimmers and gymnasts maintained their impressive performances.
Tara Ferguson starred in the women’s cycling road race as she won a sprint finish to claim gold and, with team-mates Eleanor Davies, Kate Priest and Carolyn Brown also placing well, the quartet secured a superb team gold as well.
There was also success for the men’s cycling squad as Matt Draper, Thomas Bostock, Conor Davies, Rob Sorby and Adam Kelly claimed the team silver.
The island’s swimmers carried on where they left off on Tuesday evening with another medal-winning session in the pool.
Laura Kinley grabbed another gold medal as she topped the women’s 100m breaststroke race, half a second ahead of team-mate Steph Brew in silver.
Kinley then joined Olivia Marshall, Kazia Whittaker and Emma Hodgson of the women’s 4x100m relay where they edged past Guernsey to seal silver.
The men went even better as Guy Davies, Alex Bregazzi, Brody Hewison dominated the 4x100m medley relay as they romped to an emphatic victory ahead of Guernsey and the Faroe Islands.
There was also individual success for Watterson who bagged another silver in the men’s 100m freestyle.
Having won three gold medals on Monday, Tara Donnelly added another on to her collection by winning the FIG overall individual gymnastics class on Wednesday, while team-mate Nicole Burns secured silver.
Likewise, Nick Harvey added a bronze to his Island Games CV as he finished third in the men’s FIG overall individual category.
At the athletics track, Joe Harris set a new personal best on his way to clinching silver in the men’s javelin as the Isle of Man ended the day top of the table with 22 golds, 23 silver and 17 bronze.
