Round two of the Aston International-sponsored Winter Hill Running League is this Saturday at Cringle Plantation.
The start time is 1.30pm with registration from 12.30. The start and finish will be near the main car park. Minimum age is 12 years on race day.
A big entry is expected, which could cause problems for car parking. To alleviate this, Manx Fell Runners have attained a one-way traffic system order for a section of the B39 Corlea Road on race day from 11.30am until 4pm at latest.
The one-way will be from the house, Yn Reasy, to near Ballaglashen Farm. Competitors travelling to the venue from the Ballamodha/Foxdale end will not be affected. Following the race everyone will be required to proceed south-west towards Ronague.
People travelling to the start from the south will have to go via Grenaby, Round Table or Ballamodha. The one-way system will be signed and marshalled. There may also be a field available for parking but this is weather dependent. Please cooperate with the car parking marshals.
The club wishes to thank the Department of Infrastructure for its assistance and to the residents of Corlea Road.
