Round four of the Sweeney Todd men’s hairdressers-sponsored Dave Phillips running series is tomorrow evening, Friday, with the final round in a fortnight’s time on June 29.

The Western AC events start at 7pm opposite Empire Garage showroom on the promenade with races for all ages from under-nine years upwards.

The adult runners are on the full two-mile headlands course (choice of two or four miles). Sign on from 6.15.

l Ramsey branch of the Royal British Legion is hosting a family friendly fun run to commemorate the centenary of the end of the First World War this Sunday, at Mooragh Park.

The event will be preceded by two minutes’ silence at 11am to say thank you to a generation who served, sacrificed and changed the world.

Proceeds from ticket sales and any sponsorship raised will be donated to the Poppy Appeal.

l Round four of Northern AC’s Park Run series, sponsored by Edgewater Associates, takes place next Friday, June 22.

Sign on at Ramsey Rugby Club from 6pm for a 7pm start round the Mooragh and neighbouring broughs. All ages catered for, from under-nines to veterans.

The final round takes place on Friday, July 13.
