Old Mutual Douglas travel to Cheshire with a much-changed squad for Saturday’s clash with Anselmians in North One West.

Although the hosts are in 13th place, it is an exceptionally tight division and the weekend’s hosts’ scalps include Manchester and Waterloo among other results.

This suggest a visit to Ellesmere Port will not be an easy one for the Manx side.

Last week’s riveting collision with Broughton Park has taken a toll on fifth-place Douglas, but it does give an opportunity to broaden the selection pool.

Shaun Wyllie is rewarded for his bossy Celts displays at scrum-half, and Filipe Pereira comes in at lock after strong performances off the bench in pursuit of full fitness.

Ralph Clarke makes a rare start in the front-row, Mike Dunnett deservedly retains a back-row slot, and Craig McGee returns after a shoulder injury picked up at training.

Aidan O’Shea moves to centre with Bryn Snellgrove back to his more influential post at number 10, and in Guy Wood, Adam Boyd, Sam Mete and Max Morley-Green, Douglas have a back-three choice to rank with the best.
