With a place in the Cheshire Plate final secured, PDMS Southern Nomads will book a spot in the Shimmin Wilson Manx Trophy’s finale if they beat Ramsey B on Saturday.
Nomads are pretty much guaranteed a place already but a win would seal it with a game to spare.
Their other game is against Douglas Celts who are already in the final.
The Southerners beat Ramsey by a big score at Mooragh Park but a gutsy performance against Douglas last Saturday showed that the Ramsey side is starting to gel together and, with the Manx Shield just around the corner, they could surprise.
In the Shimmin Wilson Manx Bowl, Western Vikings take on Emerging Nomads at QEII also looking to cement a place in the final.
This competition is however wide open with both Vikings and Nomads together with Castletown, all in contention.
This is Nomads’ final game and a win would put them into a really strong position.
A defeat would leave Vikings qualified and Nomads with an anxious wait on the results of the final two games which are Western Vikings v Castletown and Castletown v Western Vikings.
